ACTORS - DIRECTORS - TECHNICIANS - SINGERS - ARTISTS needed
We are building a repertory company and would like to include your information in our database. Website privacy will direct your resume to us at Fever Dream Repertory and NOWHERE ELSE.
We will contact all submitters via email when an audition date is coming up as well as first night performances.
Resumes will be kept for two seasons. For this season and due to COVID crisis, we will keep your resume until December 2024
Audition requirements during this period will include proof of vaccination and an agreement to wear masks during group gatherings.
Rules of the House
All participants must have proof of COVID vaccination
PLEASE NOTE - Rehearsals are Thursday, and Friday evenings and Sunday afternoons. If you have a recurring conflict with this schedule, it will impact the parts for which you are considered: otherwise, stay tuned for more opportunities in the Summer and Fall offerings
7 Men and 3 Women. Principal roles will cover additional support roles as needed in the script. This is your chance to play "many parts"
(Most of) The Principal characters:
Henry Condell - 40+ and fiesty; like the others a friend of Shakespeare and an actor with the King's men
Elizabeth Condell - Henry's wife; just as feisty and fun
John Heminges - 50 ish, financial manager for the King's Men; owner of the Globe Tap House and a gentleman
Alice Heminges - 35-ish, John's daughter and alewife, knows everything and hangs with the boys (The King's Men troupe)
Rebecca Heminges -John's wife, a goodly wife, strong and busy. Runs the grocery store business and is devoted to her husband and sons
Richard Burbage - 50's: Season lion of the stage, loud and proud
Ben Johnson - Poet Laureate of England friend/rival of Shakespeare. an Amazing drunk
William Jaccard - Successful and markedly shady publisher whose gentle son Isaac will take over the business someday
Boy Hamlet - A young man, a young versatile actor, idolizes Burbage (as he should) and butchers Hamlet which starts this whole project!
Town Crier/Bernardo - The everyman that holds all plays together

At least 1 minute of Shakespeare to prove to me you understand what he is saying. Sonnets are also welcomed. ...Be prepared for questions!!!!!
NOTE: If you fail to bring me a Shakespearian monologue, then you will not be considered for an onstage role.
Callbacks will be pieces chosen by the director and some selections from the play for cold reading.
Rehearsal Schedule includes Thursday, and Friday evenings plus Sunday afternoons until Easter
